The New Year has been good to me thus far because I'm included in a SOHO art gallery show here in NYC! The Leslie Lohman gallery (26 Wooster Street, Manhattan) is having a show entitled "Drawn Together" this February. The show will include non-digital media depicting images of homosexual friendship, love, and lust. Two of my pages from my erotic comic, "Second Chances" will be framed and the gallery has agreed to sell copies of my self-published mini comic. The comic is pre-packed with a set of four Foxy Andy post cards and sells for $10. If you're in Manhattan, stop by the gallery and pick up a copy! Note that my original comic pages will be available for sale, too! Don't forget that copies of my mini-comic are also available online via my ETSY shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/foxyandy
Also included in the show are several small works that will be a part of a "Big Wall of Little Drawings" which features artwork ranging in size from 8 x 10 inches to about 5 x 6 inches.
Lastly, I will have several large pieces on paper available in a portfolio. Here will be some life model drawings as well as a few hand colored ink drawings.

World Aids Day
Just in case you didn't know: today is World Aids Day. So if you can do a little something to help the fight, please do! No effort is too big or too small.
I'm helping out in my own little way by being in a group show called, "Men Loving Men" at my local LGBT Community Center to benefit the center's HIV/AIDS Youth Prevention Program. I've got three new pieces in the show centered on the theme "Super Foxy Couples". Hopefully, I'll make some sales and help the cause AND my wallet! Here is a peek at one of my featured pieces titled "Zzzip!" ...are they Super-Heroes, or just guys who like uniforms? You can decide for yourself. Leave a comment if you like, and let me know!
If you're looking for something to do tonight and are in the area, stop by! In addition to supporting the community, there will be a re-creation of an artist’s studio and steal a peek at yet another masterpiece: a scantily-clad, drop-dead gorgeous model as he’s painted by an adoring artist. Admission includes:

Foxy Zaso
Some of you people may be familiar with actor, film maker and "celebrated horror himbo" Joe Zaso, but in case you're not... well, here's your chance! Yours truly has teamed up with Joe to create a stunning new portrait. Joe's got one heck of a bod and devilish good looks to boot, so it wasn't too difficult to come up with this winner.
This "foxy" portrait is somewhat inspired by Joe's new movie "Barricade" available on Amazon (along with many others). The 8x10 will be professionally printed, autographed, and made available to fans in the next few weeks, so check back here soon for details. In the meantime, why not check out Joe's company, Cinema Image Productions, and see all the great movies that are available! Of course, also feel free to gawk and drool over this talented guy by visiting his MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/joezaso. Did I forget to mention there are also fun facts and photos of Joe featured on CampBlood.org http://www.campblood.org/Features/HimboJoe.htm ...and yes, Joe does have a Facebook profile, too! Soo many ways to get in touch and stay in touch now-a-days! ;)And some of you may not know that Joe has a bit of the devil inside him! Yes, it's true!! Before Hellboy, there was JOE ZASO (as the New Jersey Devil)!
So what are you waiting for? Go and get some Zaso movies, and then come back soon to find out when these prints will be available! :)

Foxy Merch
Just in case you wondered what happened to my Foxy café press shop... it's closed (at least for a while until people start requesting such things). Regardless, I think it's better to offer fans the chance to purchase original artwork and so I have opened a FOXY ETSY shop! In case you don't already know, Etsy is a great place to sell hand made goods and find unique gifts of all kinds. So why not check it out, and let me know if you like what you see? Any special requests? I'd love to hear them.

and I'm willing to do COMMISSIONS! Maybe you'd like a sketch of you and your boyfriend, or your favorite super hero, actor, etc. Any takers?? Email me for details!

Foxy Art
I came across a YOUTUBE vlog that someone known as "Mike Diamond" made of the Painted Boy show and exhibit. It's actually kinda fun, and thought that some of you might also think so. Beware that there is artwork depicting adult gay sexuality, so if you're not legally an adult... YOU CAN'T WATCH THIS! (Or you'll have to go and get your parent or legal guardian to watch it with you.)

Foxy Merch
Well, I didn't sell much at the Loverman show this past week-end, but that won't keep me from letting my fans get a chance! I'm in the process of getting my original art up for sale. They're really quite something up close (if I may say so myslef). So look here soon for more details soon!
In the meantime, I've added some new foxy merch to my Café Press shop, so stop over and check it out. I think the "Tasty" large sized coffee mug is quite fetching among other things. ;)
If you enjoy foxes of all varieties, check out the "Prism Boys" and see what's cooking (clicking on the image will take you directly to items in this section):

If you tend to follow the seasons, or feel festive year around check out the "Happy Holidays" section (clicking on the image will take you directly to items in this section):

Note if you've seen any of my art and would be interested in actually buying it, or having merch items with certain images... PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Send me an email or leave a comment here, and I'll do my best to make everyone happy.

Foxy Art
Just giving you all an update on my progress on work for the upcoming "Loverman" show. I'm having a lot of fun making portraits of foxy fellas of various sorts. I have about 10 pieces completed, and hope to have at least a few more by showtime.

It's a relief in some ways to get away from the computer and actually use art materials again. I've gotten too used to using digital color and have forgotten how much fun it is. I hope you like what you see from these small samples. Leave a comment and let me know!

Foxy Go-Go-GO!
Would you ever think that while viewing a DaVinci or Hockney you could turn around and see THIS? I would have to pinch myself to prove that I wasn't dreaming... or on the set of some porn movie. If you're in California and get the chance: go to the UCLA Hammer Museum and check this out for yourself!!
