"Drawn Together" SOHO art exhibition

The New Year has been good to me thus far because I'm included in a SOHO art gallery show here in NYC! The Leslie Lohman gallery (26 Wooster Street, Manhattan) is having a show entitled "Drawn Together" this February. The show will include non-digital media depicting images of homosexual friendship, love, and lust.

Two of my pages from my erotic comic, "Second Chances" will be framed and the gallery has agreed to sell copies of my self-published mini comic. The comic is pre-packed with a set of four Foxy Andy post cards and sells for $10. If you're in Manhattan, stop by the gallery and pick up a copy! Note that my original comic pages will be available for sale, too! Don't forget that copies of my mini-comic are also available online via my ETSY shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/foxyandy

Also included in the show are several small works that will be a part of a "Big Wall of Little Drawings" which features artwork ranging in size from 8 x 10 inches to about 5 x 6 inches.

Lastly, I will have several large pieces on paper available in a portfolio. Here will be some life model drawings as well as a few hand colored ink drawings.

Check back soon as I will post all the details about the exhibit ASAP, or check with the gallery website: http://www.leslielohman.org/index.html

Foxy Photo

If you're free in NYC this Monday, June 8th (7-9pm) stop by and check out the foxy photos and N2N underwear models at POSH (405 W 51st). Stop by for a free glass of champagne and a nibble, while perusing photographs of scantily clad sexy men. I'll be there digging for the dish about the shoot with photographer, Mark Bradley Miller.

Foxy Art

I came across a YOUTUBE vlog that someone known as "Mike Diamond" made of the Painted Boy show and exhibit. It's actually kinda fun, and thought that some of you might also think so. Beware that there is artwork depicting adult gay sexuality, so if you're not legally an adult... YOU CAN'T WATCH THIS! (Or you'll have to go and get your parent or legal guardian to watch it with you.)

Foxy Models

It's Friday again. Another week has flown by, and left us with what? Well, hopefully SOMETHING foxy. But just in case you're one of those who felt they were cheated, here are a few sketches I've been holding onto, showing perhaps more of my sweeter side. All of these were created at the wonderful Leslie/Lohman life drawing sessions held here in NYC.

I encourage you to visit the gallery's website and learn more about the gallery's history. Who knows? Perhaps you'll be inspired to support the gallery's efforts in promoting art with gay and lesbian sensibilities, or find one to support in your neck of the woods?

Of course, if you ever hear of a gallery or open call for entries for art with a gay sensibility... you know of at least one foxy artist who's interested. So drop me a line (betches)! ;-)
